2001 SEASON REVIEW
Oops, they did it again. Another unbelievable run for Team Xtreme, winning their third consecutive Mayonnaise Bowl. The league is beginning to wonder why the rest of us play. Three years in the league, three championships. This year's rookie, Matthew McAllister's Circle City franchise, did very well. The team led the Mr. Chef division several times during the year, but fell apart in the playoffs, finishing a respectable 4th. Marshall Faulk once again led Team Xtreme and netted the MFL MVP for his efforts. The second RB to do so. Paul Hoffman is a charter member of the MFL and his achievements were recognized with the Ed Lindsey Award.
