THE COMMISH'S DESK
This year's ED LINDSEY AWARD goes to JOHN BOWLES (BOB) for his absolute enjoyment and fanaticism towards the
game this year. James Thornton (NFL Rejects) donated his last year's winnings ($10) to this year's Ed Lindsey
Award bringing the total American Cancer Society Donation to $60. This donation will be in John's name in
memory of our friend and fellow founder of the league, Ed Lindsey. A very exciting Mayonnaise Bowl! Came down
to the 4th Quarter Touchdown by Tim Brown in the Sunday Night Game. John & I were calling each other all day.
The game was neck and neck until Brown's 80 yd score. Final Places: 1-Huskies, 2-BOB, 3-Hive, 4-Sudden Death,
5-Diqueheds, 6-Dugongs, 7-Heroes, 8-Big City, 9-Gophers, 10-NFL Rejects, 11-The Force, 12-Skunks. Draft order
for next year is opposite of places.
Same glitch in program gives a list of only starters on player scoring report again this week.
Jerry Rice was in second place after last week among WR. His 56 Monday NightPts this week shows he is still
the boss.
Cash will be sent as soon as the last applicable phone bill arrives so I can tally all the league expenses.
I hope you all play next year and attend the draft in person (look at the success of the attendees: the top 5).
